Overview

Having graduated from Wanganui Fashion Institute of New Zealand, Designer Luom Ousby moved to Sydney in 1997 to pursue her career in fashion. She worked for some of Sydney's most prominent designers, including fashion labels Studibaker and Smith & Miles and in 2004 decided to follow her passion for bridal design and Luomo Exclusive Bridal Wear was born.

"As a designer I believe its about finding an equal balance between creating something exquisite but also contemporary. I draw inspiration from so many things, including Modern Art, Fashion and style icons Sophia Loren and Audrey Hepburn".

"I love the flow of beautiful fabrics draping over the female form. A Luomo gown has to move with the Bride to create a gorgeous silhouette. I want to make sure that Brides that come to me are thrilled with their dress, that I've made their vision come alive. A Luomo Bride is a radiant, happy women".
