Lauriston House is the perfect venue for a stylish, traditional wedding. Not only is Lauriston a beautiful heritage premises circa 1887, it is also a multi-award winning, specialist wedding reception & function centre. Located in what is being recognised as the "new centre of Sydney" amidst rolling hills and parkland in Dundas Valley, near Parramatta, Lauriston House has a relaxed ambience that is perfect for any wedding reception.

The location lends itself to all manner of variations - the beautifully maintained gardens with a Victorian water fountain as its centre-piece, is a popular setting for photographs and marriage ceremonies, and is the ideal place to enjoy pre dinner drinks or delight in a romantic moment under the fairy lights. The 'bridal room' and 'dining room with dance-floor', lead off the inviting lounge/foyer area with welcoming open fire-places, that are perfect for cocktails, or a quiet place for guests to retire to during the evening.

Providing a smooth-running, pleasant reception is the norm at Lauriston House. They specialise in good old-fashion service, and unlike many other venues, Lauriston is strictly a One Function Only Venue, so all the facilities are exclusively yours to enjoy. The décor is classic and depending on your taste, can be 'dressed up' using candelabras with beautiful floral arrangements and chair covers with elegant gold, silver or ivory sashes. The food is a traditional hearty fare, ensuring all guests enjoy the beautifully prepared dishes - the delicious range of mouth-watering desserts are also a specialty.

Lauriston House has been operating as a high quality wedding reception and function centre for some 60 years. Following the change of ownership in early 1999, it has undergone an extensive refurbishment to restore it to the original charm and character of the late 1800's, but with all the modern comforts. This hard work has been quickly recognised and rewarded, and for the first time in Lauriston's long history, they have won several major awards.
