| Cakes Plus is a home-based business. All our cakes are
homemade, and you can taste the difference when we bake you a
small cake especially for your free taste test and consultation. Whether it’s a delicious mud cake in chocolate, white
chocolate, caramel, marble, almond or cherry ripe flavours, a
butter cake, a light-as-air sponge cake, cupcakes, some of the
newer flavours like orange poppy seed, carrot, and hummingbird
cakes, one of the more traditional rich fruit cakes, or a cake
from our special dietary range, you can be sure it is made from
scratch with the freshest and highest quality ingredients with
you in mind.
Depending on your choice of cake you have a huge range of
fillings and icings to choose from including (but not restricted
to) the traditional fondant icing, butter cream, cream cheese
frosting, chocolate ganache, non dairy fillings and frostings
and freshly whipped cream.
You have a wide choice of decorations including fresh fruit,
fresh flowers, silk or sugar flowers, ceramic or glass cake
toppers, sugar craft cake toppers like a bride and groom made in
your likeness or one to match a theme. We cater for most
requests and in the past have fashioned the bride and groom on a
ski field, a wedding cake fashioned as the Eiffel Tower in
Paris, a cake topper with two elegant cats (with elongated
necks) smooching and a tiered cake featuring the Chinese
Happiness symbol.
We can design your dream cake and arrange a beautiful display
stand to ensure it is the showpiece it should be at your
reception and Carol will personally deliver and setup your
wedding cake for you at your reception venue.
