Overview

Ben Marden Photography is a unique and refreshingly different boutique photographic studio. Husband and wife team Ben and Joanne are based on the beautiful NSW Far South Coast near Bega.

They lead a simple and unpretentious lifestyle on their historic farm “Waterloo”, with solar power, tank water, no TV and a 100 hundred year old house in desperate need of restoration. Their actual studio is a small old weatherboard shearing shed.

Specialising in Weddings and Portraits they believe in providing an increasingly rare level of genuine service and commitment to quality, using the best professional equipment, materials, techniques and processing available. As a Fully Accredited Member of the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) the highest level of professional conduct and ethics is guaranteed.

Not blinded by technology, all important assignments are shot on professional film for its particular look, feel, depth and proven archival qualities. Rather than the current D-I-Y approach of many digital photographers, Ben chooses to use specialised professionals for developing, colour correction, printing and retouching. This approach allows Ben to concentrate fully on creating his stunning photography and album designs.
